Here’s some photos of me behind master control at KGO. This was back in 2006. I was allowed to be “enbineer in charge” of KGO for two hours one evening. Such a blast. The board is 32 channels with digital routing on 8 of them. Very cool. I didn’t screw up too badly. Normally I […]

Last Thursday, I went to the Green Center, a new music venue constructed north of San Francisco in Santa Rosa. While this small city isn’t known for much, it has been gifted with a gem. The San Francisco Symphony played a fantastic concert and brought the hall to life. It was thrilling to be in […]

The rhododendrons were in full bloom and bursting with amazing color. Another visually stunning garden was called the “Heather Garden” which was immaculately trimmed. Trails lead all the way out to […]

In November, I was asked to co-star in a one act comedy written and directed by my friend Peter Arnott. It was called Sir Merriwhether Does Shakespeare. I was a ventriloquist whose two dummies take on a mind of their own. Tremendous fun and a wonderful script. I was really challenged with the memorization which, […]

In the 90’s I took apart a bunch of laptops and framed the pieces (which were still connected together). The result was computer art that I could reprogram and would change over time. Of course, today we have photo frames that do the same thing, but this was an early attempt at such a thing.

For dinner I made appetizers and a main course with a “spear” theme. The appetizer was a caprese salad served with the tomato, basil and mozzarella cheese on a toothpick (aka ‘spear’) then drizzled with an agave sweetened balsamic. The main course was spears of broccoli along with kabob (spear) of tenderloin, grilled red pepper, […]
